Mgzn – the magazine of the magazines, this is how Raban Ruddigkeit, publisher of the
illustrationbook Freistil, describes his new idea about magazine. The assignment of this
project was, that the reader has been able to orientate hisself again, what is important and
good, next to the mass of information, pictures and codes in our medial time. We selected
the best german and international textes of journalism from year 2008 and gave them in a
new visual context. The magazine had been completly illustrated from further students from
the HfG, so that the reader could reflect them in a new way. Through this concept the best
textes get discreted not previously seen.
